Taxon description
Gatunek borealno-górski, znany głównie z północnej Europy, poza tym rzadko i sporadycznie wykazywany z Alp, Sudetów, Karpat oraz gór Harcu, Szwarcwaldu i Lasu Czeskiego. W Fennoskandii sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, a w środkowej Europie w górach dolinami dociera do wysokości około 2000 m n.p.m. Z Polski znany tylko z Sudetów Wschodnich, ogólnikowe dane z Galicji oraz Karpat należy odnieść do terenów leżących na południowo-wschód od naszej granicy. Spotykany pod butwiejącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, odstającą korą oraz pod płatami mchów na skałach.
