Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek od krajów śródziemnomorskich przez całą środkową Europę aż do najdalszej północy w Fennoskandii, notowany poza tym z Kaukazu, Armenii i Syberii. W Polsce występuje od północnej części kraju aż do Tatr, ale notowany z nielicznych stanowisk. Zamieszkuje torfowiska, pobrzeża wód zarówno na terenach otwartych, jak i leśnych, zwłaszcza w olszynach. Znajdowany wśród mchów i niskich roślin, pod kamieniami, napływkami i gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi.
