Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek europejski, rozprzestrzeniony od Anglii i Francji do okolic Leningradu i Nowogrodu, na południe sięgający do Hiszpanii północnej, Włoch środkowych i północnej części Półwyspu Bałkańskiego. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju prócz wysokich gór, ale brak dotychczas udokumentowanych danych z niektórych krain. Występuje na suchych zboczach trawiastych, pobrzeżach lasów, polach uprawnych i łąkach. Zimuje w stadium larwy. Postacie dorosłe poławiane są od maja do września na krzewach i roślinach zielnych, również w czasie lotów.
