Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południową i środkową część Europy, na północ docierający do Anglii, Danii, południowych obszarów Szwecji i Finlandii, a na południe do Algierii i Maroka, wykazywany także z Kaukazu i Syrii. W Polsce rozsiedlony od Bałtyku aż po Tatry. Spotykany na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich. Zasiedla przydroża, rumowiska i aluwia rzeczne. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano w czerwcu-październiku. Larwa żeruje i odbywa rozwój w koszyczkach rumianu psiego — Anthemis cotula L. i maruny bezwonnej — Tripleurospermum inodorum (L.) Schultze-Bip.
