Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek ciepłolubny, zamieszkujący głównie południową oraz lokalnie środkową część Europy, wykazany poza tym z Ukraińskiej SRR, Kaukazu, Zakaukazia i Azji Mniejszej. Z Polski notowany tylko ogólnikowo z dwu krain, dane te jednak pochodzą z ubiegłego wieku i winny być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Wzmianka Z. Stebnickiej (1976) o występowaniu na Śląsku Cieszyńskim odnosi się do stanowiska leżącego w Czechosłowacji. Pojawia się w kwietniu i maju na suchych, nasłonecznionych glebach, w ekskrementach głównie owiec, rzadziej bydła i koni.
