Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący północną Afrykę, południową, zachodnią i środkową Europę, wykazywany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i Danii. Rozmieszczenie w Polsce słabo poznane, na ogół rzadko spotykany, częściej w południowej części kraju. Spotykany w gniazdach zwierząt, zwłaszcza kretów, w kopcach ziemniaków, w próchnie starych drzew, pod kamieniami i gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi.
