Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, znany od południowych krańców kontynentu aż do koła podbiegunowego, wykazywany również z północnej Afryki i zachodniej Syberii. Zasiedla wilgotne, głównie gliniaste gleby na pobrzeżach stojących, słodkich wód, spotykany niekiedy na torfowiskach, żyje w bliskim sąsiedztwie wody, szczególnie na miejscach silnie ocienionych.
