Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Występuje w całej Europie i Azji. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, prócz Tatr i Pienin. Roślinami żywicielskimi są przede wszystkim pokrzywy (Urtica dioica L. i U. urens L.), ale również wiele roślin zielnych i krzewów.
