Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986b:

Rozpowszechniony w środkowej i północnej części Europy, w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych, wykazywany też z Kaukazu. W Europie środkowej jest najczęściej spotykanym gatunkiem omawianego rodzaju. W Polsce notowano go z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Znajdowany pod odstającą przegrzybiałą korą, wśród pleśniejących szczątków roślinnych i resztek w paśnikach dla zwierząt oraz na pleśniejącym drewnie i chruście.
