Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy, notowany ponadto z Danii i Algierii. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko i lokalnie spotykany, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach. Zasiedla suche lasy, zarośla, słoneczne wzgórza i wrzosowiska. Żyje na janowcu barwierskim — Genista tinctoria L., janowcu włosistym — G. pilosa L., janowcu ciernistym — G. germanica L. i szczodrzeńcu czerniejącym — Cytisus nigricans L. Larwy odbywają rozwój w płaskich minach, najczęściej na wierzchołku liścia, gdzie również przepoczwarczają się.
