Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1980:

Pospolity, szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek w prawie całej Europie (nie znany dotychczas z Bałkanów), wykazywany poza tym z Kaukazu. W Polsce notowany od Bałtyku aż po Tatry, lecz brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, w Alpach sięga do wysokości około 3000 m n.p.m. Spotykany bądź na terenach leśnych, bądź otwartych, na glebach piaszczystych i żwirowatych, pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, kamieniami, wśród mchów i niskiej roślinności.
