Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w prawie całej Europie (nie znany ze skrajnych części południowych i północnych), wykazywany też z Kaukazu, Syberii i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce występuje na całym obszarze nizinnym, w części południowej kraju znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk. Żyje na wilgotnych glebach próchnicznych, zwłaszcza w bagiennych lasach liściastych, rzadziej mieszanych, również na torfowiskach. Najczęściej znajdowany w wilgotnej ściółce, pod liśćmi i wśród mchów z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrh.
