Europa: Dania, Francja, Niemcy, Polska, Austria, Węgry.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Monofag na chabrze driakiewniku — Centaurea scabiosa L. Żeruje na spodniej stronie przyziemnych liści.
