Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek wykazujący dużą zmienność geograficzną, wyróżniono dotąd dziewięć podgatunków zamieszkujących zachodnią, południową i środkową Europę, Azję Mniejszą, Kaukaz, Zakaukazie i Armenię. Podgatunek nominatywny występuje w centralnej części środkowej Europy, w Polsce dotychczas nie stwierdzony, ale może występować w Sudetach Zachodnich. Omawiany podgatunek carpathicola Scheerp. zasiedla głównie Sudety i Karpaty. Wzmianki o występowaniu na terenach nizinnych wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Występuje w dolinach i niższych położeniach górskich, na brzegach rzek i potoków.
