Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990a:
Gatunek zasiedlający Europę Południową, Afrykę Północną, Kaukaz, Azję Mniejszą i Środkową, niekiedy zawlekany do krajów środkowej Europy, ale tu nigdzie nie zaaklimatyzował się. W Polsce notowany z okolic Miechowa. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne nie zalicza się tego chrząszcza do fauny krajowej. Żyje na sparcecie siewnej — Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.
