Kawecki 1985:
Europa (nie wykazany z Europy Północnej). Rośliny żywicielskie: przede wszystkim dęby, prócz nich leszczyna, maliny i ostrężyny, grab, wiąz, borówka czarna i inne. Gatunek partenogenetyczny. W niektórych krajach szkodnik dębów.
