Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony prawie w całej Europie (nie znany z północnej części Fennoskandii), podawany też z północnej Afryki, Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu i zachodniej Syberii. Zasiedla jałowe, kamieniste pobrzeża i żwirowiska nad potokami i rzekami, przebywa w niedalekim sąsiedztwie wody.
