Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa: Anglia, Niemcy, Polska, Czechosłowacja, Węgry, Bułgaria, Ukraina; Zakaukazie.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Monofag na klonie polnym — Acer campestre L. Żeruje w dużych koloniach na młodych pędach, ogonkach liściowych i liściach, zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki. Cykl rozwojowy ciągły, bez diapauzy letniej.
