Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony na terenach górzystych w południowej i środkowej części Europy od Pirenejów aż po południowy Ural, notowany też z północnej części Wyżyny Rosyjskiej. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje głównie na terenach górskich i podgórzach. Poławiany od wiosny do jesieni na różnych gatunkach roślin z rodzaju poziewnik — Galeopsis L., jak poziewnik polny — G. ladanum L., poziewnik miękkowłosy — G. pubescens Bess. i poziewnik szorstki— G. tetrahit L.
