Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym do obszarów górzystych i podgórzy głównie w środkowej Europie, na południe sięgający do Pirenejów, północnych Włoch, Jugosławii, Siedmiogrodu i Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Zamieszkuje pobrzeża rzek i potoków, gdzie spotykany przeważnie wśród żwiru, otoczaków i pod napływkami.
