Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek zamieszkujący, prócz skrajnych części północnych, całą, Europę, wykazywany nadto z Syberii. Występuje prawdopodobnie w całej Polsce. Zasiedla zarówno tereny nizinne jak i niższe położenia górskie. Znajdowany pod odstającą, wilgotną i ociekającą sokiem korą na niedawno ściętych lub obalonych pniach drzew liściastych, rzadziej iglastych, niekiedy także w hubach.
