Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od wschodniej części Europy Środkowej, poprzez Półwysep Bałkański i Ukrainę docierający do Azji Środkowej i Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce notowany głównie z południowych terenów wyżynnych oraz z nielicznych stanowisk niżowych. Zasiedla głównie otwarte tereny piaszczyste, nasłonecznione suche zbocza, miedze, pobrzeża lasu i zarośli oraz dróg. Bionomia poznana fragmentarycznie; postacie dojrzałe poławiano na bylicy polnej — Artemisia campestris L. i bylicy pospolitej — A. vulgaris L; w hodowli obserwowano żerowanie na liściach krwawnika pospolitego — Achillea millefolium L. i wrotycza pospolitego — Tanacetum vulgare L.
