Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek holarktyczny, podawany też z Indonezji i Nowej Zelandii. Żyje na brzegach małych zbiorników wodnych, w miejscach wilgotnych, nieocienionych i porośniętych trawą i ziołami.
