Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Rozmieszczenie tego bardzo rzadko zbieranego gatunku, prawdopodobnie reliktowego, nie jest wystarczająco zbadane. Wykazywany z nielicznych stanowisk w południowej części Europy środkowej, z Francji, Włoch, Jugosławii i Eumunii. W Polsce wykazany dotychczas przed około 50 laty z dwu tylko krain, przy czym według M. Nunberga (1976) omyłkowo podany z Gdańska, a dane o występowaniu w Puszczy Białowieskiej wymagają, potwierdzenia. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest poznana; w Słowacji był poławiany na sośnie w chodnikach kornika sześciozębnego — Ips sexdentatus (Boer).
