Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie środkową Europę, zwłaszcza jej część wschodnią, znany również z nielicznych stanowisk w południowo-wschodniej Anglii, Francji, Belgii, Danii i południowej Szwecji. W Polsce rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany na terenach nizinnych i pagórkowatych. Występuje na wilgotnych łąkach, zwłaszcza nad wodami, prowadzi nocny sposób życia, kryjąc się podczas dnia w próchnicy, pod kamieniami na szlamistych pobrzeżach oraz pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
