Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej i wschodniej części Europy oraz zachodniej Syberii, w Europie na zachód sięga do środkowego Renu, na południe do północnych Włoch i Węgier, z północy znany tylko z trzech prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce bardzo rzadko i pojedynczo znajdowany. Występuje przeważnie na wilgotnych, silnie ocienionych miejscach w lasach łęgowych lub na pobrzeżach rzek. Spotykany pod korą martwych drzew zarówno stojących jak i powalonych, niekiedy w napływkach popowodziowych.
