Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie we wschodniej części Europy, w Fennoskandii sięga do koła podbiegunowego, a na wschód dociera do Syberii. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk. Znajdowany pod korą różnych gatunków topól, rzadziej pod korą na buku, brzozie i dębie oraz na drzewach iglastych.
