Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek rozmieszczony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii aż do krajów śródziemnomorskich, na wschód sięgający do południowej Syberii i przez Azję Mniejszą aż do Afganistanu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Występuje na terenach nizinnych i w niższych położeniach górskich — na wilgotnych glebach, zwłaszcza na pobrzeżach wód, pod gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi, nawozem, odchodami krowimi, niekiedy w gniazdach kreta.
