Taxon description
Gatunek występujący w prawie całej Europie, na północy sięga do środkowej części Fennoskandii, wykazywany również z Kaukazu. W Polsce szeroko rozmieszczony choć stosunkowo rzadko i sporadycznie poławiany. Żyje pod zmurszałą korą i w próchnie dziuplastych drzew liściastych, jak wierzba, topola, buk, dąb i innych.
