Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w środkowej i wschodniej Europie oraz południowej części Fennoskandii, na zachód sięga do wschodniej Francji, a na południe do północnych części Hiszpanii, Włoch i Bałkanów. W Polsce spotykany sporadycznie i dość rzadko zarówno na niżu, jak i w górach. Występuje pod zmurszałą, lub obumierającą korą w sąsiedztwie różnych gatunków korników na sośnie, świerku i jodle, sporadycznie łowiony również na drzewach liściastych.
