Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek pospolity, szeroko rozmieszczony w prawie całej Palearktyce, w Fennoskandii sięgający daleko poza koło podbiegunowe. W Polsce z wyjątkiem wysokich gór prawdopodobnie występuje wszędzie, ale brak jeszcze danych z kilku krain. Często spotykany w chodnikach różnych gatunków korników i innych drzewożerców podkorowych, głównie na sośnie, rzadziej na świerku, dębie, topoli i iwie.
