Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek zamieszkujący prawie całą Europę (z wyjątkiem obszarów północnych Fennoskandii), notowany również z Algierii i Syrii. W Polsce, z wyjątkiem wyższych położeń górskich, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, jednak nie jest znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Żyje na traganku szerokolistnym — Astragalus glycyphyllos L. Larwa odbywa rozwój w pączkach kwiatowych, gdzie wyżera słupek i pręciki; przepoczwarczenie następuje na dnie pączka.
