Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Azja Środkowa.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje w koloniach na dolnej, rzadziej górnej stronie blaszki liściowej olchy czarnej — Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. Kolonie tej mszycy odwiedzane są zawsze przez mrówki.
