Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w północnej, środkowej i wschodniej Europie oraz na Zakaukaziu, w Azji Środkowej, na Syberii i w Japonii.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na gałęziach i w szczelinach kory pnia różnych wierzb, zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki. U nas znaleziony na: Salix alba L., Salix amygdalina L., Salix caprea L., Salix cinerea L., Salix dasyclados Wimm., Salix fragilis L., Salix purpurea L., Salix rosmarinifolia L., Salix viminalis L.
