Taxon description
Eurytopowy gatunek euro-syberyjski, w Europie występujący od północnej Hiszpanii, środkowych Włoch, Korsyki i Grecji aż do koła podbiegunowego w Fennoskandii, notowany również z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i zachodniej Syberii. Zasiedla wilgotne gleby różnych typów, unika jednak czystych piasków i żwirowisk, spotykany zwłaszcza na zacienionych pobrzeżach wód stojących i bieżących, również częsty w lasach zabagnionych i na torfowiskach.
