Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie, w Fennoskandii sięgający poza koło podbiegunowe aż do skrajnych prowincji północnych. Z Polski stosunkowo rzadko notowany, ale występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, aczkolwiek nie znany jeszcze z kilku krain. Znajdowany przeważnie w próchnie i butwiejącym drewnie buków i dębów, rzadziej wśród mchu i opadłego listowia.
