Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
[KFP 1037: Ptomaphagus sericatus] Gatunek rozsiedlony od południowo-wschodniej Europy przez środkowa część kontynentu aż do Francji i Włoch, notowany również z Kaukazu. W Polsce dość pospolity na wyżynach w południowej części kraju, znany ponadto z kilku stanowisk w okolicach Warszawy i jednego stanowiska na Pojezierzu Pomorskim. Występuje w norach gryzoni i padlinie.
Burakowski et al. 1978:
[KFP 1036: Ptomaphagus medius] Gatunek występujący głównie w środkowej i zachodniej Europie, notowany również z kilku stanowisk na Wyspach Brytyjskich, w Danii i południowej Skandynawii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych i rozproszonych miejscowości od Pobrzeża Bałtyku aż po Tatry, prawdopodobnie występuje w całym kraju, lecz brak udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Znajdowany w norach gryzoni oraz na padlinie.
