Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej Europie, na północ sięgający po Wyspy Brytyjskie i południową część Fennoskandii, notowany również z nielicznych stanowisk górskich w południowej Europie. W Polsce na ogół rzadko notowany z pojedynczych, rozproszonych stanowisk, tylko ze Śląska Dolnego częściej wykazywany. Występuje zarówno na obszarach nizinnych jak i górzystych, docierając do strefy subalpejskiej. Występuje głównie na terenach leśnych pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, wśród mchów, w dziuplach drzew oraz w chodnikach drobnych gryzoni. Niższe postacie rozwojowe znajdowano w gniazdach kreta.
