Taxon description
Nast 1976b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w Europie zachodniej, środkowej i południowej, nadto wymieniony z Tunezji, Zakaukazia, Kazachstanu i Uzbekistanu. Wykazany też z Nearktyki i Nowej Zelandii (zawleczony). Żyje na topoli czarnej (Populus nigra L.). Osobniki zimujące spotyka się czasami w mieszkaniach.
