Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od skrajnych prowincji północnych Fennoskandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Francji, Włoch i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego, na południowy wschód sięgający do Kaukazu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk rozmieszczonych głównie w południowej części kraju. Występuje zarówno na obszarach nizinnych, jak i górskich sięgających do strefy subalpejskiej. Żyje na grzybach nadrzewnych i w przegrzybiałym drewnie pni i pniaków.
