Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, północna Afryka.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Oligofag na turzycowatych i pałkowatych. U nas znaleziony na pałce szerokolistnej — Typha latifolia L.
