Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w południowo-wschodniej części Europy, na zachód docierający do Węgier, Moraw, południowej Polski, Saksonii i Turyngii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk położonych w siedmiu krainach. Zasiedla suche nasłonecznione zbocza, zarośla, zręby, miedze. Żeruje na niskich krzewach, zwłaszcza na malinie właściwej — Rubus idaeus L. i jeżynie popielicy — Rubus caesius L. Bionomia i jego cykl rozwojowy nie są znane.
