Taxon description
Gatunek występujący w północnej i środkowej Europie, sięgający na zachód do Francji, a na południe do północno-wschodnich Włoch, notowany również z europejskiej części ZSRR. W Polsce wykazany tylko z kilku stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Znajdowany w zmurszałym drewnie starych buków i dębów, pod gnijącymi liśćmi, wśród mchów z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt oraz w gniazdach mrówek Formica rufa L.
