Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk niżowych oraz górskich w północnej i środkowej Europie oraz Tunezji. Występowanie w Polsce, wymagania ekologiczne oraz morfologię Sepedophilus marshami (Steph.) w porównaniu z Sepedophilus testaceus (Fabr.) omawia A. Szujecki (1969).
