Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Czas występowania motyla — koniec IV do pocz. VI. Gatunek rzadki, znany głównie z południowych rejonów Polski. Gąsienice, zgodnie ze swą nazwą, spotykane na trędowniku. Żyją od VI do VIII, żerują zwykle ukryte na spodniej stronie liści. Zaatakowana gąsienica upada na ziemię i zwija się w gwałtownych ruchach na obie strony. Zimują poczwarki.
