Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek notowany z okolic Paryża, z Włoch, ze Szwajcarii, Niemiec, Polski, Czech, Słowacji, Węgier, Austrii, Jugosławii, Bułgarii, Ukrainy. Wykazany w Polsce z nielicznych stanowisk w sześciu tylko krainach. Występuje na suchych łąkach i zboczach, wzgórzach wapiennych, pobrzeżach lasów sosnowych i wydmach. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do połowy września. Jako rośliny żywicielskie w piśmiennictwie były podawane lepnica wąskopłatkowa — Silene otites (L.) Wib. i lepnica tatarska — S. tatarica Pers. oraz mokrzyca szczeciolistna — Minuartia setacea (Thuill.) Hay. Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy poznano fragmentarycznie. L. Dieckmann (1988) łowił dojrzałe samice w czerwcu i lipcu, które w hodowli żerowały na pączkach kwiatowych i młodych owocach lepnic.
