Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek palearktyczny, w Europie rozprzestrzeniony od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do południowych części Wysp Brytyjskich, Fennoskandii oraz Karelii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozmieszczonych głównie w południowej części kraju. Występuje lokalnie pod odstającą korą drzew liściastych, rzadziej iglastych; niekiedy znajdowany wśród mchów na starych drzewach, pod opadłym listowiem oraz w spróchniałym drewnie w zabudowaniach, zwłaszcza w piwnicach.
