Taxon description
Gatunek znany głównie z Europy Południowej oraz z nielicznych izolowanych stanowisk na Węgrzech, w Rumunii i południowym obszarze europejskiej części ZSRR. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. Jedyna ogólnikowa wzmianka z końca ubiegłego wieku nie znalazła później nigdzie potwierdzenia. J. Gerhardt (1910) nie zaliczył omawianego gatunku do chrząszczy śląskich. Bionomia i wymagania środowiskowe nie są znane.
