Taxon description
Gatunek występujący w górzystych obszarach północno-zachodniej oraz środkowej Europy. Uważany za gatunek borealno-górski, na północy docierający do północnej Anglii i Szkocji, a w Alpach sięgający do około 2500 m n.p.m. W Polsce znany z Karpat i Sudetów oraz ich podgórzy. Znajdowany w ściółce, pod opadłym listowiem i kamieniami na miejscach wilgotnych, wśród mchów oraz w spróchniałym drewnie starych wierzb i topól.
