Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje w szczelinach kory różnych drzew liściastych z rzędu Fagales, zwykle tuż nad powierzchnią ziemi i jest odwiedzany zawsze przez mrówki. U nas znaleziony na roślinach: Quercus sessilis Ehrh., Quercus robur L., Betula pubescens Ehrh., Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn. i Acer platanoides L.
